Personal brand, self-esteem, and job performance

Personal branding is a fundamental asset for enhancing self-esteem and, consequently, job performance. According to Velásquez-Arana et al. (2017), building a strong personal brand enables professionals to recognize themselves as competent agents and stand out in a highly competitive environment, increasing their self-confidence to face challenges and achieve better results at work. This self-valuation fosters intrinsic motivation and resilience, which are key aspects of professional development.

Furthermore, by strengthening self-esteem through personal image management, individuals not only improve their productivity but also create a positive impact on workplace relationships, facilitating collaboration and effective leadership (Velásquez-Arana et al., 2017). Thus, personal branding is not just a visibility strategy but a driver for growth and professional efficacy.

The more we connect and become aware of our personal brand, the more opportunities we will have to improve our well-being and create a positive impact in our interactions with our environment.
